Lea, I talked to Alberta at Dallas County and also forwarded Clay’s detailed information to her and copied Tushar and Jonathan as she requested. She said our request sounded fair but Tushar needed to review it. I have asked Clay to follow up with Tushar in the next week to finalize the details. Thank you, Nancy From: Lea Dunn Sent: Wednesday, July 13, 2011 11:39 AM To: Nancy Cline; Clay Barnett; Alison Ream; Slade Strickland; Carmen Moran; Marisa Perry Cc: Tom Forrest; Ron Whitehead Subject: recap of today's meeting re: COG and Dallas Co. Grants Importance: High All: The following is a summary of the items we discussed today and what needs to be accomplished by our meeting on Monday. I’d like to meet at 3:00 Monday, July 18 if that works in everyone’s schedule. Please let me know and I’ll send a meeting request. If the following is not clear or if you had a different understanding, please let me know. Clay: Will identify from April, May and June pay apps, the items that are eligible for the construction and pedestrian amenities of the COG grant to submit for the first reimbursement submittal and will identify the remaining construction and pedestrian amenities in 1C and 1D that are eligible. Slade: Will identify all elements (both grading and earthwork, construction and pedestrian amenities) completed between March 30 and April 26 that may utilized as our match portion for the COG grant. Will identify any remaining items since April 26 that may be eligible for reimbursement under the construction or pedestrian amenities portion of the COG grant. Nancy: Will call Dallas County to confirm that they will pay for the change order items 42 and 43 regarding the lake edge walls in the amount of $87,200; and clarify if they will increase the “ estimated not to exceed”amount so that we can recover $2,669.16 for Phase 1C and $10,678.89 for Phase 1D. If Dallas County agrees, then the Town would recover $100,548.05 in grant funds from Dallas Co. that were removed during the value engineering phase. Will identify from the April, May and June pay apps for the Spring Valley and 1E projects, the items that are eligible for the construction and pedestrian amenities of the COG grant to submit for the first reimbursement submittal and will identify the remaining construction and pedestrian amenities in the Spring Valley and 1E projects that are eligible for the COG grant reimbursement. The goal is to finalize at the Monday meeting the spreadsheet that will be submitted to COG. As I indicated if you have any concerns about the deadline, please let me know so that we can provide the resources necessary to finalize the numbers. Appreciate everyone’s help.
