The park is scheduled to be dedicated to the Town on Feb. 9th. It goes to Planning and Zoning tonight. If not, please inform us of the timeline for dedicating the park to the public. Please send us the bid documents for the park portion with plans. Also please send us the most recent plans and estimates for the bridges and the sidewalk connection up to Spring Valley Rd. Do you have these plans in a PDF file that we could look at digitally? Otherwise a half-size set of plans would be good to get started with. Eventually we would want full-size sets of plans. Is the southern pedestrian bridge with the park bid or being developed with the bridge bid? Since the bridge portions have not been built yet it would be very helpful for traceability if the pedestrian portions of the vehicular bridges can be listed as a separate item or possibly identified in the description of the bid item. We will need to keep the project title to Addison Trail since that was how it was listed when the funding commitment was approved. Including Phase 4 in the title could allow flexibility in the event that it becomes possible to construct a trail connection to the Brookhaven Loop Trail. Sounds like the street name change is proceeding but we can list the new name in parentheses, just in case. Please confirm the overall project length, dimensions of the trail and pedestrian portions of the bridges. The 8/14/09 letter to Commissioner Dickey had listed the following: Trail: 8 feet wide, 5400 ft. long nearly one mile long South Pedestrian bridge: 15 ft 9 ¼ inch wide (12 feet wide), 150 ft. long (length unspecified (please specify or estimate if possible)) Pedestrian portion of Ponte Lane Bridge: Two 12 feet wide long pedestrian paths 220 ft in length (the bridge span is 139 ft) ( remove-70 feet in length) providing connections to trails) Pedestrian portion of Bella Lane Bridge: Two 12 feet wide long pedestrian paths 182 ft in length (the bridge span is 139 ft) (remove-70 feet in length) providing connections to trails For the pedestrian portions of the bridge why does the letter specify 32' is dedicated to pedestrian traffic when the total of the two paths is 24'? The pedestrian pathways on the bridge were detailed wider. The current plan shows 14 ft 6 in but we are thinking of reducing it to 12 ft. Is this okay? Please also indicate whether there will be any possibility of bicycle/pedestrian improvements along Vitruvian Way and/or south to the Brookhaven Loop Trail? Yes, definitely. The plans for Vitruvian Way include a pedestrian walkway that is 10 ft 6 in. wide from the park to Spring Valley. (an additional 1100 ft of length) The remainder of each side of the road has a pedestrian walkway that ranges from 7 ft 6 in to 10 ft 6 in. (a total of 2500 (south) and 3600 ft (north) for a total of 6100 ft of new sidewalk along Brookhaven Club Drive (Vitruvian Way) None of these sidewalks lengths have been included in the submittal. Tomorrow (1/27) I will be at TxDOT all day for LGPP training but will use email to help keep progress. If you have any immediate questions please contact Antoinette otherwise I will be available Thursday afternoon. If you can provide us these answers by no later than Thursday morning (1/28) we will have a better chance of getting you the PSA by 2/2.
