Hello, The following is a recap of our meetings today: * UDR indicated a preference for a Random Ashlar pattern while TOA expressed an interest in a Ledgestone pattern. There is a slight increase in the cost of Ledgestone since more cutting is required to produce the narrower (in height) pieces. There may also be a slight increase in installation costs. However, the Ledgestone pattern can provide a more contemporary look. * Denser stones were selected to reduce the amount of water absorption and staining. The chart below shows the denser selections. * UDR would like to do mockups with approximately 30 square foot each for 4 different stone types. This will provide a better representation of color range and also demonstrate thin veneer installed on a curved surface. * As you can see from the table below we now have 7 stones that have been selected. Stone Type TOA Selection TOA Selection Denser Stone Comments Tuscany X Quarry Chop Suttermill X X Aspenbark X X Greycastle X X X TOA felt this was too light and looked like concrete Coalcreek X X X Autumn Buckskin Ledge X TOA raised concern that this stone may oxidize and create red streaks Valley Blend Mix X X Please consider this information and then perhaps we should meet again to review the samples.
