Attached is the draft version of our water use permit from TCEQ. Chris Kozlowski has asked us to review and provide any changes we would like to make to the permit to him by Thursday of this week. Please review and if you have any comments, please provide them to me by Wednesday so I can get them incorporated. As we know, the City of Dallas will object to the permit. This allows them the opportunity to make sure TCEQ incorporates their rights and concerns. Keith Bradley and I met last week with Denis Qualls from the City of Dallas Water Dept. to discuss the permit and there appears to be only one issue to resolve, and that is the loss of water due to evaporation from the expanded water surface area, and how this water will be replaced and accounted for. Denis has given us two options for us to discuss, and Keith and I would like to sit down with you to get your input. Can we set up a meeting for Wednesday or Thursday to discuss our options? Denis was very optimistic that that we can get this resolved in the next few weeks and that the permit could be issued at the expiration of the 30 day permit comment period. BRUCE F. DUNNE, P.E.
