Author Eric Little Posted - 11-Aug-2010 11:55 AM CT The mock up is already completed for the grotto. I believe the amplitheater mock-up is being built right now. The Wildlife Observation and Tree Protection walls are already complete and in place. We can look at all this after the meeting tomorrow if you like. The Town would like to see what the finished work will look like with and without the sandblasting prior to making a decision on this issue. Notified Users Brad Rusk (Nathan D. Notified Users (none) Brian LaFoy Posted - 9-Aug-2010 7:47 PM CT NDM commented that the bug holes in the concrete could potentially be an issue and that further investigation was recommended. It is NDM's opiniion that the acceptability of the extent of the damage is utlimately the decision of the structural engineer. It appears from the comments that the structural engineer has no issues with this so NDM has no further comment. Notified Users (none) Eric Little Posted - 9-Aug-2010 3:06 PM CT It seems that Viewtech, KSS and NDM are all ok with this. No one else has replied so I assume they have no opinion. Jennifer, please proceed with concrete placement understanding that all concrete will be pressure washed to remove dirt, form oil and open up any bug holes/remove surface paste. Thanks, Eric Notified Users Brad Rusk (Nathan D. Maier Consulting Engineers) Junior Rojas (Kevin Sloan Studio) Victor Lissiak III (Viewtech Inc.) Tom Lamberth (UDR, Inc.) Brian LaFoy (Nathan D. KSS does not want any of the exposed concrete to be sand or media blasted. UDR is ok with that as long as the contractor does pressure wash the concrete to remove form oil and dirt. Need to make sure everyone is ok with this direction. Notified Users Brad Rusk (Nathan D.
