It was my understanding that the recirculation design intent (upper & lower systems) was; 1) the upper recirculation system would control the water level upstream of the false weir (below Ponte Ave.) and 2) the lower recirculation and false weir would be controlled based on a mechanical time clock for the desired consistent flow over the false weir and provide lower system recirculation. The level controls would be connected to a fill valve (1600 ft north of the level control) that would replenish the upper recirculation system from a future 4" connection to either a domestic water or water well source. This source and fill valve are not currently in this contract, however, 4" water line provisions and 3/4" electric conduit for fill valve control are included. Sheets E102 and M111 appear to indicate this design intent, however, sheet M111 also shows the water level control sensor downstream of the false weir instead of upstream which I believe is incorrect. Greenscape needs to verify the design intent and advise. One other item related item needs to be addressed. Sheet E102 shows a waterfall anemometer control, I do not believe that any location, mounting or conduit provisions have been provided for this control. This item also needs to be verified and provisions added.
