They have 2 drill shafts at their abutments and we show 3 on ours. Also the distance across the creek that they have is 151’-6” c-c of drill shafts which is 1’6” more than our drawing shows. Please verify that the design plans have been coordinated. Proposed Solution Attached Files (none) Section: 2 - Sitework Int. Yes Cost Change: Yes, may be Time Change: None Discipline Code: N/A Drawing Numbers: Needs Drawing Change? Yes History (Chronological Order) Type Response Billable n/a Memo The redesigned Pedestrian Bridge has been coordinated with the Halff plans and bridge shop drawings that are posted on Projectmates. From the information you provided, it sounds like you are looking at old plans with the previous bridge design. The current bridge design shows coordinates at each face of the bridge abutments which are the same as the revised park layout & dimension control plan, sheet C203, issued on 1-19-11. The distance between abutments is 151'-6". The number of piers below the bridge abutments was three on the old bridge design and two on the new bridge design which Austin is constructing. The revised park landscape plan layout of the bridge landings, sheet L3-05, was issued on 2-22-11 and looks correct. I have not seen the revised park structural plan, sheet SP306 because it was emailed to others and is not yet posted on Projectmates. The revised civil layout CAD file, also posted on Projectmates on 1-19-11, shows the correct bridge landing layouts (including the piers). My discussion with Viewtech on Wednesday morning indicated that they were ok with the bridge landing pier layout shown in this CAD file and were going to incorporate into thier plan. It is also my understanding that the revised park structural plan, sheet SP306, was been distributed by email and will be posted on Projectmates this morning. Copies of the civil C203 and layout CAD file along with the landscape sheet are attached for reference. Please let me know if any additional information is needed. While the landings have been updated to the current plan, the sheet still shows the old bridge design abutments which is very confusing. I spoke with Victor III and will assit them in getting a revised sheet reissued later this morning.
