I have attached some pictures of items that will need to be discussed at tomorrow's meeting.
 
 
The first picture is of the backer rod where the side plates will be attached.  Kleinfelders CWI's have looked at these rods and and believe that there is a lack full penetration on
these welds.  Kleinfelder purposes to have the X-Ray techs randomly shoot these welds and see what kind of penetration each of these welds has.
 
 
The second picture is of the top of the arch at a field splice.  It appears that during fabrication AFCO Steel did not finish rolling the tops and bottoms of the arches at the field
splice.  This picture indicates that the last 30" of this particular section rolls away from the field splice alignment about 1/4" in 30".
