Nancy / Clay, I have attached a couple of pictures of a bridge we built way back in 2001 for the City of Irving on 6th Street over Delaware Creek. It was made to look decorative, but used standard TxDOT box beams. It was 160' long by approximately 50' wide and cost about $1,200,000. Like I said in my last email, we are excited to build the bridges designed, but I don't believe that suspension bridges are less expensive to build, unless you use Henry Buildings price, and I don't see anyway that they could be less expensive to maintain. Thanks for taking the time to talk with Kal today. Kym Bergstrom Earth Builders, LP PS I left the bid opening amazed that any contractor would be so arrogant as to tell 5 other contractors, all experienced bridge builders, that he would show us how to build bridges! Part of me hopes that you award to Henry Building and let them fund your work, just make sure his bond is good.
