Preliminary legal review of the draft PSA was positive except for inadequate scoping information.  Please confirm the overall project length, dimensions of the trail and pedestrian portions
of the bridges.  The 8/14/09 letter to Commissioner Dickey had listed the following:

 

Trail: 8 feet wide, nearly one mile long

 

South Pedestrian bridge:  12 feet wide, length unspecified (please specify or estimate if possible)

 

Pedestrian portion of Ponte Lane Bridge:  Two 12 feet wide long pedestrian paths 70 feet in length providing connections to trails

 

Pedestrian portion of Bella Lane Bridge:  Two 12 feet wide long pedestrian paths 70 feet in length providing connections to trails

 

For the pedestrian portions of the bridge why does the letter specify 32' is dedicated to pedestrian traffic when the total of the two paths is 24'?

 

Please also indicate whether there will be any possibility of bicycle/pedestrian improvements along Vitruvian Way and/or south to the Brookhaven Loop Trail?

 

Tomorrow (1/27) I will be at TxDOT all day for LGPP training but will use email to help keep progress.  If you have any immediate questions please contact Antoinette otherwise I will
be available Thursday afternoon.  If you can provide us these answers by no later than Thursday morning (1/28) we will have a better chance of getting you the PSA by 2/2.
