The price for the railing and stone veneer is locked in on the contract. Same with the handrail. Neither party can change it unless it increases or decreases by 25%. I just did not
know if the quantities were correct. We could leave it off, but that would not look very good, so I think we just include it at the unit price in the contract. Sounds like the only
issue may be the cost of the retaining wall.

I've been considering the wall unit price and I am concerned. The price is more than double what I would expect to pay ($50/SF) for a large wall. While I understand that average prices
need to be increased for small projects, Austin's rate ($112/SF) seems a bit excessive. I've left Eric Little a message to call me so we can put our heads together Friday morning; I'll

I can answer your question about stone veneer. The intent of our design was to add the veneer to the wall since it is immediately adjacent to the veneered abutment of Bella Lane. It
makes sense, but the $26,560 price sours the deal. It sounds like you would agree?
