This meeting needs to happen ASAP so the CO can be processed. From: Clay Barnett [mailto:cbarnett@addisontx.gov] Sent: Thursday, December 02, 2010 5:24 PM To: Eric T. Little Subject: FW: Vitruvian CO2 Eric, Eric C. is questioning the steel quantities for the RFI changes. He said that some of the steel that they submitted for was in the original plans, but that their calculation of the weight was off. Since the steel is included with the concrete, the plans state that the contractor is to calculate his own steel quantity and use that for his bid and that the steel quantity in the plans is for estimating purposes only. Under this condition, Austin does not have the right to request reimbursement of the extra steel above the RFI changes. Also, check the number of days requested. Eric used their request of 23 days. I believe this is 7 days for this change order and 16 days of delays. Let me know if you have any comments. Thanks, Clay Barnett, P.E.
