Major, I am glad to help to get this 2” irrigation controls conduit added. We just need to get the conduit located along the east side of the roadway and behind the future curb. Originally I thought you might just run it with the 1 ¼” street light conduit crossing the bridge, but now I see that location is below the roadway. Please reference the attached exhibit showing what I had originally laid out for the conduits. I am showing it 2 or 3 feet back of curb at each end with the 1 ¼” street light conduit. Can you come up with a layout on the bridge that will get the conduits near that location? Please let me know if you would like to discuss or need any additional information. Joel A. Halff is planning on having the conduit placed in the bridge deck. In plan view, it will likely run adjacent to the traffic rail on the east side of the bridge as you showed in your markup. Do you see any issues with this plan? At what elevation does the conduit need to be when it terminates beyond the approach slab?
