Folks,

At last week's meeting, I decided not to schedule a meeting for tomorrow morning, hoping we could wrap up the odds and ends via the phone and email. Unfortunately, we still have a grading
issue at Bella that needs attention. Given the current grading plan and the distance the arches reach below the level of the bridge deck, the ends at three of the four arches will be
buried in the dirt. The north end of the west arch is the only one currently above grade (see attached PDF for more info).

 

We believe the arches all need to end above grade, which means the grading plan needs to change to make that happen. However, Icon has informed us that we need to accept the current
plan without change. I propose we meet tomorrow morning to discuss this issue. Will you be able to attend?

 

We can also show you what we're designing for the sidewalks at the south end of Ponte, since the Park drawings didn't define that very well.
