We'd like to propose another solution to the sidewalk slope issue at Ponte and Bella. Would it be acceptable to the Town to slope the sidewalk back toward the bridge centerline using
Styrofoam as a fill material to allow the use of a 4" sidewalk thickness? This maintains a continuous line (albeit slightly taller) at the outside edge of the sidewalk that Carmen preferred,
but minimizes the weight gain we're desperately trying to avoid.
