Dave,

 

As per our conversation this morning. I will have Steve drop off a 2”x  1 ½”flange reducer and a 1 ½” meter with you. As agreed you will give this to the contractor and have his plumber
install it along with a double check. Once installed they will contact you to unlock the curb stop and test the DC. At that point you will send us a meter inspection form and we will
obtain meter info and submit it to billing.

There is a 2 inch curb-stop for what looks like an old irrigation service.  They could use that (I guess we would supply the meter in that case), or get a hydrant meter.

He wants temporary service for construction trailers.  What is the duration of the project?  I will check if there are any services in the area, but if this will be a long-term project,
we may want to put in a tap for him (if there aren’t any), or have him put in a tap on the main to protect his service during freezing weather.
