Joel, I’ll follow this email with an email to the FAA that will emphasize the importance of keeping their previous schedule for MALSR equipment delivery this week. If we can’t get the Sta. 10+00 and 12+00 equipment delivered and installed before the July 1 runway opening, we’ll install it during the weekend closures for runway grooving in August. It’s a decent back-up plan that won’t require additional threshold displacements or runway closure, but I prefer to get those stations installed before July 1. Could FAA please be a bit more specific on the delivery date? That was a fairly non-responsive response; I think we need to press FAA a little harder on this to get the contractor the materials.
