Mitchell, One other thing, can we make sure the finished grading of the road is level with the surrounding areas so we can mow over it without getting into the road materials? I have attached an exhibit of the proposed changes. The typical section from the FAA standard detail shows an 8 inch P-209 on top of a compacted subgrade for a maintenance area access road. During the RSA grading project a chip seal was placed on the MALSR / Localizer access road. Do either one of you prefer the 8 inch P-209 or a typical section that matches the existing access road? Let me know as soon as possible to help process Change Order #3. If you have any questions just let me know.
