All: The time change is fine with me. In another matter, this afternoon I noted that some personal vehicles were parked on the far north end of Taxiway Alpha. Another personal vehicle was observed on the west side, just north of Taxiway Foxtrot and the north end of Taxiway Bravo (see attached photos). Please do not allow employees or subcontractor employees to bring personal vehicles inside they airport perimeter fence: they need to park in the designated areas at the north end of Dooley Road. Company vehicles need to be identified with a placard or markings on the sides of the vehicle. Personal vehicles on the airport are a recipe for an incursion and I cannot even begin to convey to you how bad that would be if we were to allow such a thing to occur. Also, I have noticed drink cups and other trash here and there in the construction areas. While I will grant that it could have blown there, I would also say that I don’t think that is likely how it got there. Either way, please remind all personnel of the need to keep trash / litter off of the airport, and please pick it up if you see any. When it comes to trash on the airport, everyone is a garbage man (responsible to pick it up and dispose of it properly). Thanks for your help with this. Aside from those two issues, the construction seems to be going very well and I appreciate everyone’s efforts and attention to details. This is the best run and managed airport construction project that I have ever been involved with. If we can maintain our focus through the end, I think we will have an excellent chance to win the Construction Safety award that we set as a goal at the start.
