Frank, I organized all our prints earlier this week and found a few interesting ones. One is titled "Overlay Taxiways, Install Medium Intensity Taxiway Lights and Guidance Signs", which is Taxiway Alpha area. However all of the electrical section is missing. It is dated February 1993. I also found one titled "Construct West Taxiway and connectors with Drainage Improvements (South Section)", which is Taxiway Bravo area. It is dated December 1997. If this is any help then swing by and I'll show you what we have here. The Town may have a copy of these as well, I'm not sure. You may have better luck getting additional info from the engineering firm which worked on these than what I am getting so far. Given that we just met Wednesday, I think this meeting would be superfluous. In addition, it conflicts with the FAA Partnership Conference being held in downtown Dallas. The next scheduled CIP meeting is Tuesday 11/3 (at the usual 10:00am time). The runway borings will have been completed by then, as well as all of the surveying. I don't see a need to have another meeting before the next scheduled meeting on 11/3, but if anyone has a different view please share it. In the interim, we need to focus on collecting whatever information is available on our runway lighting systems. Dave has been doing some troubleshooting and evaluation work, and has found that some places where we thought the cables were in conduit are in fact direct-buried. The light cans we have in some areas will also need to be replaced ... it is possible that the entire runway edge lighting system will need to be removed and replaced. If Public Works has any as-built drawings or even plans for any airfield lighting (I believe the runway edge lights were done circa 1992) it would be really helpful if we could locate those and provide copies to Garver. Dave will continue and hopefully complete his survey of the runway lighting circuits by 11/3, so we should have a good idea of what is actually out there in time for the meeting.
