Joel, Yes, we'll review the MALSR agreement and bring any edits/ revisions to our meeting. We'll also be prepared to discuss Taxiway Delta repairs. And I'll probe TxDOT regarding the exit taxiways and hopefully have something to report at our meeting. P. I skimmed over it, but I won't really have much time to devote to it before next week at the earliest. At our regularly-scheduled CIP meeting next Tuesday, I would also like to discuss the Taxiway Delta repair. Also, I understand that the scope agreement for our runway overlay does not include an overlay of the connecting taxiways out to the hold lines, which does not make any sense to me. Any pavement inside the RSA needs to be addressed at the same time as the runway, it is an inseparable part of the runway environment. If TX-DOT argues that this is taxiway and not runway and therefore has a lower priority, that is total nonsense. Look what they did in McKinney: Collin County had their runway completely reconstructed, when everyone knows full well that runway will become a taxiway as soon as McKinney gets its "replacement runway" constructed. In other words, TX-DOT and FAA spent over $12 million to build Collin County a new taxiway that is temporarily being used as a runway. They cannot tell me they can't afford to resurface our connecting taxiways inside the hold lines and keep a straight face. I have always understood it to be customary for any runway resurfacing project to extend out to the hold lines on the connecting taxiways. Why should this project be any different? Can we push TX-DOT on this issue?
