I have no problems with the boring locations. The airfield lighting cables will be in the affected areas, so we will need to power up the lights after the boring is done. The storm drainage pipes are also in the affected areas along the east side for sure. I am not sure about water and sewer, maybe Clay can assist with this. Subject: RE: Emailing: Addison Irrigation Plan 5-14-2011 Mitchell, I think the basic plan looks fine. What is difficult for me to determine from the drawings is where the lateral lines with the sprinklers are in relation to the Taxiway Alpha safety area. That safety area extends approximately 60 feet from the taxiway centerline, and I would be more comfortable if the laterals and sprinkler heads were outside the safety area. If they get into the safety area a little, I think we could live with that but it would require a NOTAM. Dave and Clay need to have a look at the boring locations to make certain we aren’t boring through anything that we know is there that we don’t need to hit. Subject: FW: Emailing: Addison Irrigation Plan 5-14-2011 I have attached the irrigation plan and materials used for watering the infield areas in this project. If you could review these pdf’s tomorrow morning that would be great. As you heard in the field the lead time on the materials for the irrigation system is 2 weeks. If it’s alright with you all I would like to call around 1:00pm to discuss this plan and go over any concerns that you might have. Let me know if this time doesn’t work and we can work something out. Thanks, Mitchell McAnally Garver 972-377-7480 <> Frank, Updated Irrigation Plan with requested Bore Locations. Trunk Line will be 6" with Gun connections every 120 FT. Gun Radius is estimated at 130 Ft. Watering toward Runway will be by manually rotating 2 guns for periodic watering. Lateral Lines will be 3" with 18" sprinklers every 30 FT. All watering towards Taxiways will be with 3 Inch Laterals. All Irrigation Lines will be outside the reduced Runway Safety Area. We will still need to water shoulder sod with water trucks in scheduled closures. We are in discussion with the City and Fire Department on using 6" Valves.
