Corey, Following is the punch-list from October 1, 2010. 1. Install reader lid on meter box and mount meter touch-pad. 2. Seal all redwood and expansion joints such as at ADA ramp, Back of Curb, Drive approach, Apron, etc. 3. Finish culvert grading and cleanup to mow-able condition on Claire Chennault (both sides where impacted by construction) 4. Finish fence work. 5. Change out DCVA to DCDA on fire service and install appropriate meter with touch-pad mounted on the outside wall. 6. Clean excess joint seal from apron. Clean concrete “blobs” off surface of apron. On October 6, 2010, you and I re-inspected the above and found numbers 1-4 completed. The DCDA (#5) was installed with a Badger meter (temporary – no touch-pad) on 10/04/10. This temporary meter was changed out in cooperation with the Utility Department, and the touch-pad was mounted on the outside wall. They await delivery of the ordered replacement meter when it arrives. The concrete “blobs” from #6 were removed, but there is still quite a bit of excess sealer in some places on the apron and parking area north of the hangar. Related to #3 above, the culvert on the taxiway side of the project is also in need of some additional work to remove obstructive soil at the east end of the project that is impeding flow from the east to the new culvert pipes installed to the west at your new approach. As discussed, but not listed above, the question of what to do with the excess spoil on the Phase II site was to be investigated. After discussion with Clay today, it was determined that the piles must be removed from the site at your earliest convenience. We would expect this effort to be started within the next ten working days (beginning October 11). We are also awaiting the submittal of Record Drawings of the project in the form of one set of sealed and dimensioned mylars and one CD of the drawings in .pdf and .cad format. If you have any questions please contact either Clay or me. David E. Wilde Town of Addison Public Works Inspector 972-450-2847 dwilde@addisontx.gov
