We have reviewed the current pavement design and geotechnical information to justify the modulus values used in the pavement design. I’m ready to approve the design contingent upon the
following:
If there is not enough recycled pavement to use as base course material, the owner must revise the pavement design and resubmit pavement design and geotechnical testing results to justify
modulus values used in the pavement design. Construction of pavement section with base course material other than recycled pavement shall not be permitted without approval of the new
pavement design.
