Joe,

 

We are fine just sending the mylars if they have all of the contractors markups.  Occasionally, we do find something that was not built according to plan, we mark that sheet up and return
it.  This condition is rare though.  I think you are fine sending mylars.

 

The disk should contain AutoCAD files and a PDF for each individual sheet.

Clay, the as-builts are ready for submittal.  Do you want to look at them before I make the mylars?  Some city’s want a preliminary look before the copying occurs.

 

I received and email from Corey that stated the as-builts have to be submitted as mylars and on a disc.  What format do you want them on the disc?  .jpg? .tif? .dgn? .dwg?

Please add the following note to the paving plan:

 

“If there is not enough recycled pavement to use as base course material, the owner must revise the pavement design and resubmit pavement design and geotechnical testing results to justify
modulus values used in the pavement design. Construction of pavement section with base course material other than recycled pavement shall not be permitted without approval of the new
pavement design.”

 

Please submit at least five copies of the revised drawings to issue for construction.
