I have not seen a response from you on this email. The conversations I’ve had with the town indicate that they have no issue with us keeping our current construction entrance and pulling
the island on Vit Way back so we have access.

 

NTC will be demo’ing the south lanes of Vit Way at the end of this month. We need to work this out before then.

Bruce,

 

Here is a copy of the drawing that Joel sent we that clearly shows the construction entrance moving to Bella Lane. This does not work for two reasons:

 

1.       Bella is only 24’ wide – this is too narrow for our delivery trucks (especially the ped bridge delivery) to make the turn.

2.       Once Bella goes under construction, we will lose this access point completely.

 

If there is a different drawing, I don’t have it. 

 

I spoke to Roger again about this a few minutes ago and he reiterated that he has not had any conversations with anyone regarding moving the construction entrance from its current location.

 

As I stated in the meeting today – Nick and I need to be kept in the loop on these things. We are out here every day and are in constant communication with ALL parties – NTC on the park,
Austin/Halff on the bridges, Andres on the buildings and Tom Lamberth/ToA/UDR operations on everything.  We have a better understanding of the big picture out here construction wise
than anyone. 

 

We cannot do our jobs properly if we are continually cut out of the loop on discussions, especially ones as critical as access to the site.
