That’s good news about the flexibility from TCEQ. Commencement will be dependent on when engineering gets the sewer line in. They are not in favor of any tank pull activity until the sewer is done. That work is supposed to start first of next week and Clay anticipates 2 weeks to completion. I’ll stay in really close contact with them. I’m told transfer of ownership has occurred. If you need the date that happened, let me know. When we have a firm timetable for when tank removal can start, we will notify and work out plan with Crimson Corner on split samples. Thank you 2. Yes (see #1 below) 3. OK 4. Yes. I need to know what Crimson expects with regard to split samples (will their consultant be on-site; if not, what do I do with the split samples we collect, etc?). I am working on this proposal next. New issues: 1. I just heard back from TCEQ and they WILL grant us a variance on the 30-day notification. So, a decision needs to be made on when would be best to remove the UST. I have no preference, but we will need two weeks or so to obtain the bids and have the contract signed between the Town and the contractor. The 10-working day notice for the canopy removal is NOT flexible and will have to be fit in there somewhere as well. May 3-5 is likely the earliest we can start, but that requires the proposal phase, notifications, and the contractor’s schedule to fall into place. 2. At some point, I need to know when the Town formally took possession of the property, so that we can notify the TCEQ of a change in PST ownership. 3. No product was in the tankpit observation wells and it appears that only residual product was present in the UST. Samples are at the lab.
