Bradley Cc: Eric T. Little; josh@ntexcon.com; ncline@addisontx.gov; Clay Barnett; Bruce Dunne Subject: Vitruvian Way Extension TWC Conflicts Lyle, Per our meeting in the field and prior discussions, attached are updated Preliminary TWC Relocation Exhibits (1-2 of 2) showing relocation options. These exhibits are being forwarded to you for discussion and finalization of the TWC Relocation plan for the Vitruvian Way Extension project. During our last discussion, on March 3, it was my understanding that permanent TWC facilities were proposed for the new VP102 building (under construction) and were to be installed in the AT&T duct bank and must connect to the TWC surface equipment that now must be relocated for the Vitruvian Way Extension paving. It was also my understanding that to keep the existing apartments in service, installing a new long term temporary TWC conduit from Spring Valley Road was preferred in lieu of utilizing the AT&T duct bank facilities. All of these options are shown on the exhibits. We have added a location for permanent TWC surface equipment within a designated utility area which can be connected to the adjacent existing AT&T duct bank facilities. The problem I see is that if new long term temporary TWC conduit is installed for the existing apartments, there is no good path to the permanent TWC surface equipment that would not be in conflict with future proposed facilities. I believe you would need to install a second new or relocated surface equipment for the existing apartments or utilize the existing AT&T duct bank as the route to the permanent location. Please review and we can discuss further as needed. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional information. Joel A. Massey Project Manager icon Consulting Engineers, Inc.
