We contracted to have TBG re-design the nose of the Vitruvian Way median so that we could remove the trees we had planned to put there, and install lights and landscaping compatible with the sign. That was the last change order we took to Council, and we are in the process of doing that work. It was our understanding that Tom’s contractor was going to build the actual sign. While we gave him a license agreement to put it in public ROW, we believed it was going to be a Vitruvian-owned sign, like the one at Marsh and Vitruvian Way, and the banners on the light poles. Lynn says the drawings he has are sufficient. As soon as someone fills out the permit application, we can issue the permit. Carmen Moran Director of Development Services Town of Addison P.O. I was thinking that Clay wanted the sign design to incorporate into the Spring Valley / Vitruvian Way street improvements as part of the public project and the other landscape architect's (JBG???) overall plan. Given that this is Addison's land, is UDR the one that facilitates the permit application? We can do whatever but I must have misunderstood protocol here. From: Carmen Moran [mailto:cmoran@addisontx.gov] Sent: Thursday, July 28, 2011 2:14 PM To: Tom Lamberth Cc: Lea Dunn Subject: sign permit for Vitruvian Park median sign Lea asked me about the permit for the monument sign in the median at Spring Valley and Vitruvian Way. We have never received a permit application from anyone for that sign. I forwarded the sign plans I got from you to Lynn, and he said that would be enough information for the permit, but your sign contractor needs to come in and fill out a permit. You used Chandler Signs on the sign at Marsh and Vitruvian Way, and we issued the permit to them for that sign. Carmen Moran Director of Development Services Town of Addison P.O.
