Thanks. ________________________________ From: Neil Gayden [mailto:ngayden@addisontx.gov] Sent: Monday, April 12, 2010 8:25 AM To: Clay Barnett; Hill, John; Nancy Cline Cc: Lea Dunn; Carmen Moran Subject: RE: John, I’ve talked to Clay about work phasing and here’s the latest. The sanitary sewer line installation is by far the most pressing issue. I suspect work will commence there very shortly with Clay being the staff point man. We’ve gotten a ballpark bid for canopy & tank removal (assuming there is not any contamination) but we’ve not yet solicited bids to actually do the work. Carmen indicates that Ron wants/may want to do further Phase II work in the tank hole and perhaps under the building (for potential dry cleaning chemicals) before actually settling on a price. No results yet from asbestos survey so don’t know about remediation. Having said all that, until the center is completely vacated empty the only disruption in the center probably will be the sewer line installation. Tank removal and building teardown will happen after sewer line work completed after center is vacant and asbestos work (if needed) is complete and additional Phase II work complete. He would like to let his client know the approximate time frame so he can try and work around any inconveniences related to his bookstore etc, and he would like to have someone present to observe what is found. Can you please let me know when the tanks will be pulled? Thanks.
