Chris, I’m not sure who should respond to the questions regarding the interlocal agreement, but I thought I’d copy you and if you can forward to the appropriate persons, I’d appreciate it. Please forward responses to me and I’ll send to Council. Let me know if you have any questions. This has little to do with the branding initiative or does it include some work on that? What is an example of what they have done for Taste last year? Item R5: Does staff recommend denial even with the conditions recommended by P&Z? Item R7: Article III improvements: It says that the playground is in district scope. I thought we were building the playground? Article IV use: 4.1 Who decides and communicates the availablity of the premises? Should that be defined (for example, if we need to use the space, who in the district has the authority to approve that use and who keeps the master calendar - the prinicpal? Facilities?) 4.4: May Greenhill can use the parking under this contract? Article V 5.3. Has Chief Davis reviewed the security clause? Article VI: 6.2 Is it usual to designate shared liability? Exhibit B: General question: To what degree are we compelled to make all of the improvements? For instance, if we review shade structures and do not find one that meets our needs, would we have to amend the contract or does the contract give us any flexibilty? A: discus (spelling) E: Can we strengthen this overlay clause (regarding the ability for all Addison children to attend?) F. Is the $300,000 supposed to match the Financial impact statement in the summary page? H. The prohibition of organized play sounds to me like kid leagues won't be permitted - YMCA for example? Is that the intent? If not, we should say so. N. Any estimate on the spring valley improvements? General question: I am concerned about how the public and private uses of the school will be handled from a security perspective during school hours. I realize that it is the desire of the Town and citizens to have the recreational areas available to Addison residents during not school hours. However, I'm trying to picture how that can be done in a way that preserves the security of students (as young as 4 or 5 in preschool for instance). Is it as simple as having a gate locked during school hours and open during non school hours? Thanks, Bianca 972 768 2426
