Chaucer, This sounds more like a discussion that needs to be between you and your client. However, I do take exception to the statement about the “city changing his requirement.” All the town expects is that the plans meet the requirements of the town and state. I have reiterated this since the beginning of this project. The plans were not clear in some areas to be able to discern if there was positive drainage or ADA issues and in some cases we have determined that there was not positive drainage and there were ADA issues. The town is willing to examine all the alternatives, but at the end of the day there must be positive drainage for the new building and it must be accessible.
