good afternoon, gentlemen spent few hours at the site with my laser and measuring tapes, i got more spot elevations. at the site, we did pay extra attentions to the site drainage, here are what we found: 1. there are two 10' curb drain at the north access drive at proton street. 2. we found another 10' curb inlet at proton street, about 300' west of the existing twin-10' inlets. there are plenty capacity of these inlets to handle the runoffs. 3. at the parking garage, the ridge line is at the east edge of the parking structure. and there are two 5" roof drains at both east and west sides of the rooms/parking structures. my drain calculation is reflecting whats on the ground. the as-built drawing shows incorrect info as what you have already pointed out in the previous meeting: there are mistakes in those as-built drawings. 4. a new drain channel between the parking structure and new building has been added, so the water, however little this can be, will be guided south before hitting on the building wall. 5. i re-checked and revised plans and designs according to these new spot elevations 6. the space we have from the back of the curb of the north parking to the edge of the existing building is 81'-4". our building is 71'-7". hence there are more than 9' space for this 6' emergency access ramp. and with the movable pocket structure, we still have more than one foot space from the back of the curb. 7. the landscape plan needed be revised accordingly since most of these space have been used up by these access ramps. attached is the added sheet for this detailed gradings for the ADA review. all access ramp have less than 2% side slope for proper drainage away from the building. i plan to resubmit this new set of civil plans (3 copies) monday unless you have additional comments for me to address. have a great weekend. respectfully chaucer On Thu, Mar 18, 2010 at 4:17 PM, Clay Barnett wrote: Comments are attached.
