Michael, At the west end of the project (south side of Spring Valley) we have two issues with the location of the new sidewalk. Both are existing issues that pose a trip hazard for our sidewalk alignment. The first picture is of the guy wires. These are located right on the edge of the sidewalk. I would like to propose widening the sidewalk at this point so that the anchors are in the concrete as opposed to blocking out around the anchors which would cause our sidewalk to only be approximately 4 feet in width. The second photo is of the existing AT&T pedestal box. The slab itself is no longer level and looks as if it has been through multiple shrink/swell events. This slab extends into our new sidewalk by approximately 1 foot. I don't think that we can cut this slab back nor can it be leveled out. If we pour around it, it will definitely be a trip hazard. Can you advise as to how you would like NTC to proceed pouring around these two obstacles. I would like to get this area poured out either today or tomorrow at the latest.
