Sounds like things are going well with the road construction. As discussed, please forward over a copy of the 1st signed change order for this project. Additionally, please make sure that the second change order clearly designates the total amount going to part A & part B. I don't think I will need any detailed unit price breakdowns. This would just confuse the issue. However, a lump sum part A & part B cost is important and needs to be included on the actual change order signature page. After Council approves the expenditures, I would like to review the format of the change order before you send it out for signature. Once I get all of the change orders, I will prepare a letter of explanation to DISD for our final accounting. I will need to get them to absorb the additional costs that Slade has incurred due to their contractor's delays. Have a good weekend and we'll talk to you soon.
