Clay, 1. It does look like the sod on the east end was put in per the plans. We can talk to Seth about possibly adding a few more heads in that area to service in that area if you wish. 2. Sounds like the striping should be good. I would just have Josh make sure and keep good records on what AT&T damages so we can get it repaired by AT&T. 3. Here is the contact you asked me to write down at the site. Cliff Carroll 817-965-0132 4. It is totally up to you how you want to handle the maintenance issues he is talking about. I agree that cracked pavement/sidewalk and damaged sealant could be considered maintenance. I do think the areas on the sidewalks that have never been sealed should be completed. As far as landscaping, dead plants might be maintenance but I know Seth had comments on plantings being incorrect and steel edging not being installed. 5. I have sent Seth an e-mail asking if he is available Wednesday morning but have not heard back from him yet. Michael Barbier, P.E. Cc: 'Andy Nord'; 'Zach Fusilier' Subject: A few things Michael, 1. It looks to me that the sod has been placed to the limits shown on the plans for the northeast corner by the circular area. In addition, there isn’t an irrigation system for this area. It would be a lost cause adding additional sod to this area as it will be hard to get it to establish. 2. The striping has been repaired (overlaid) in the intersection which also includes the turn arrows as well as the turn arrows on northbound Vitruvian Way. I am afraid that this striping may get damaged while AT&T is working. I just spoke to Brandon and he said it looks great. They also placed the white buttons and repaired the yellow buttons on the north nose. 3. Clay, can you send me the AT&T contact or talk to them about cleaning up the sidewalks near their work area so that anyone walking to and from the school isn’t stepping through the mud to do so. This is something that was brought up by Brandon during our conversation. 4. NTC is trying to close out the project in the next day or two so that we can achieve completion. I forsee cracked paving and sidewalk panels, paving and sidewalk sealant, and some landscape plantings as being continuous items on this job. NTC can’t afford the have a new panel or landscape item to come up in each of the walk throughs that we have. I feel that these specific items need to be addressed as maintenance issues as these could easily continue to come up for the foreseeable future. Does this sound acceptable to you? 5. Can we set up the meeting with Seth and TBG as soon as they can meet so that we can address any and all issues that they may have. I don’t want to wait and as I said before we may have some warranty issues with the landscape items. Let me know when he is available to meet so that I can have American in attendance as well. They are working on some of the issues brought up in the previous walks as I type this.
