Clay, After reviewing the items for the Vitruvian Way portion, I have a few questions and comments. 1. Item #6 – “Provide sidewalk connection to existing sidewalk on the north side of the northern drive entrance to the Lemmons property.” The concrete sidewalk which is to connect the Lemmon’s company walk to the enhanced sidewalk was not part of the original contract and therefore should not be included as a punch item. NTC can and will perform this work and will price it up and get that to you the first part of next week. 2. Item # 14 – ”Two light poles located in the median, north and south of Bella Lane, need to be re-sanded and re-painted.” These poles are not included in the quantity for this project (item 2.87: 4 ea). I know that these were left out of 1B due the construction entrance. I will see that these poles get fixed but these should not be part of the contractual completion of 1E. 3. Item #15 – ”Repair all existing irrigation that has been damaged and is currently inoperable along the west side of Vitruvian Way from future Bella Lane extension to the intersection at Spring Valley Road.” I have confirmed with Landscape Expressions that the Springhaven apartment complex does not have nor has ever had an irrigation system. Therefore, there is no system to repair. Our schedule of values provides funds to perform this “repair” work but since there is not an existing system we will need direction as to how you want this system tied into the rest of the irrigation work we have done and we will need the opportunity to price this if it is more intensive (i.e. – additional water tap, meter, double check, etc.) than originally intended. Should this be tied into the Spring Valley water source or the Vitruvian Way water source? Clipper Pointe does have a system and there is a very small portion of repair work that will get done. Please address these items as we have already begun work on the punch lists in hopes of completing all work quickly. Let me know if you have any additional questions or comments.
