When we move our vehicles in to remove the overhead conductors we need full access so that we can move up and down the line with the trucks. While we are removing the conductors it will not be safe to have your guys below the overhead lines. 30ft south of the pole line will be clear and a safe distance away from our work. Please remind your folks about what we are doing as just because we do not have a truck in the immediate area, our conductor could still be coming down. Also remind them that if they take a break from what they are doing not to move into our area. Darrell Holley will be the crew foreman on-site. If he sees that your folks are too close he will let them know. I plan to be on-site also during the day. Once we get the overhead conductors down you should be able to get back into the Spring Valley work area; however, we need to maintain a clear zone from where we are dismantling poles and removing poles (about 50ft.). ________________________________ From: Josh Hodsdon [mailto:josh@ntexcon.com] Sent: Monday, May 09, 2011 1:20 PM To: Baldwin, Larry Cc: andy@ntexcon.com; ncline@addisontx.gov; cbarnett@addisontx.gov; dwilde@addisontx.gov Subject: RE: Oncor Work Larry, Will my crew need to be out of the entire area once you have the overhead conductors down and are just working on removing the poles? We are also pouring the paving on Vitruvian Way starting at 7 am tomorrow morning. They will be about 30 feet south of your pole line. Will this be far enough out of your way so that they can work? I understand and agree with the safety of your operation and am not questioning it just trying to see how we can best accomplish the work necessary for the betterment of the project. Thanks for the update and let me know your thoughts on the aforementioned questions. Oncor and Wilbros crews will be on-site to do the “switch-over”. Upon completion of the switching, the overhead facilities will be idle and the new underground cables will be energized. Once the overhead facilities are de-energized, Oncor Crews will set up line trucks in the missing east bound lanes adjacent to the wood structures. We plan to have additional crews on hand so they can set up at multiple poles to aid in the safe removal of the overhead conductors. For safety reasons, we will need the missing east bound area clear of your construction work force while we are working to remove the overhead conductors. If we do not get everything removed tomorrow, we will need access to the poles the following Wednesday (or Thursday if it is raining Wednesday) to finish our removals. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information. ________________________________ From: Josh Hodsdon [mailto:josh@ntexcon.com] Sent: Monday, May 09, 2011 11:42 AM To: Baldwin, Larry Cc: 'Andy Nord'; 'Nancy Cline'; 'Clay Barnett'; 'David Wilde' Subject: Oncor Work Larry, Per our meeting last week, you had thought that the underground lines would be energized today, Monday May 9, 2011. I haven’t seen anyone from Oncor onsite today so could you give me an update as to your schedule and where we stand on energizing the new line? As you know a lot of work is tied to the completion of your work along Spring Valley.
