I went out and looked at the push button locations today and I believe they should meet the ADA requirements. NTC has installed a extension to the button on the southeast corner to lower
it and bring it closer to the sidewalk. That corner should no longer be an issue.

Clay,

 

NTC needs to know what was decided regarding the locations and access to the pedestrian crosswalk buttons in the intersection.  If we need to relocate the curb, how do you want this
done (sawcutting, location, etc.)?  Or are new poles going to be installed?  I would also ask that this issue not be considered for the punch list or bonus as these are design issues
that are outside of NTC control.  The signals, sidewalks, and curbs were put in per plan and the issues were not found until after construction was complete.  This additional work will
need to be done under an additional change order which will add both time and money to the contract.  Let me know your thoughts and also let me know the new plan of action.
