Josh, Please proceed as described below. Mike, Please prepare a plan revision to reinstall the fire hydrant. We will need to include this in Change Order #1. Town Engineer Town of Addison 16801 Westgrove Drive Addison, TX 75001-2818 Office: (972) 450-2857 From: Josh Hodsdon [mailto:josh@ntexcon.com] Sent: Monday, January 17, 2011 8:21 AM To: Clay Barnett Cc: Nancy Cline; 'Mike Romanowski'; David Wilde; 'Andy Nord' Subject: RFI #6 Clay, NTC spent Thursday afternoon exposing the water line service. We exposed the line approximately 19-feet to the north of the ‘tee’. We were able to verify that the ditch line ended at this point and that we believe there is a concrete thrust block and cap on the line at this location. This helped to confirm that the line does not serve the apartment complex. NTC did not want to excavate any further as we were already 10-feet north of the ROW line. If the town would like us to expose anymore of the line then we will need to get an agreement in place with the apartment complex regarding digging on their property and replacement of the sod. NTC would like to have the valve turned off at the main so that NTC can cut out the tee and valve to the hydrant so that we can continue laying the electrical duct bank. Please let me know if this will be acceptable or if you were able to find out anything to the contrary on your end.
