Nancy, We are happy to handle the Vitruvian Way Extension submittals anyway you would like. Please let me know if you would like for us to respond directly to you only or some other way. For this duct bank submittal, I would prefer that Oncor review and approve and/or reject the proposed materials. Since the infrastructure will become their facilities, they should have the opportunity to accept or reject. We have included their general notes which include the specifications, but Oncor is the only one that knows their current standards. I will be happy to forward the Vitruvian Way Extension component to James Davis, Oncor Electric for review if you agree. You might want to ask Larry Baldwin what his preference is for the Spring Valley Road component. I have reviewed the duct bank submittal and would reject portions of it due to the following: 1. Oncor needs to confirm that the Turner Co. is an acceptable supplier of electric manholes. 2. The switchgear pad and transformer pad are on the Spring Valley Road portion. They look ok, but Oncor needs to accept or reject because they will be installing the equipment on them. 3. Schedule 40 electric conduit is NOT acceptable for the duct bank. Please refer to the duct bank general notes. All conduit, bends, elbows, couplings, etc. are to be Type DB, TC-6 DB60/ASTM F-512. 4. Oncor specifies specific part numbers of Carlon duct spacers in the general notes. The duct spacers submitted, not Carlon, do not specifically identify which spacers are being proposed and Oncor needs to accept or reject the submitted Heritage Plastics Group product. 5. The concrete mix design indicates course aggregate of 1” - #4. The duct bank general notes specify ¾” maximum aggregate size. Oncor needs to accept or reject the concrete mix design. I am sorry that all of this all sounds so negative, but some of it is. Please let me know if you would like to discuss and if you would like me to forward to James Davis. Joel A.
