FYI.

The new fire hydrants at the east entrance to Springhaven Apartments (Bldg. 14), and at the West Springhaven driveway are connected to the new 12 inch water line, and are on and available
for use.  The new 12 inch line is open and active from the Oncor easement to Woodway.  The existing 8 inch line in Spring Valley is still on to the hydrant at the main entrance to the
Springhaven Apts, but that hydrant will be taken out of service after we make the connection to existing at Woodway.  This will kill the existing 8 inch and that hydrant, but we will
have two new hydrants in service to compensate.  The hydrant at the Glenwood entrance will be re-located tomorrow also, but will be in service after the relocation.  I hope this is not
too confusing, but I would be happy to show on the plans or meet in the field for anything that doesn’t make sense.  Hooray for progress!
