Our State imposed deadline is January 1, 2011. 3) Do you want a prebid meeting? No prebid meeting. a. If so, is it mandatory b. If so, do you want it at Finance or the Service Center 4) Do you want a full slate of bonds (performance, maintenance, and payment), or just the standard bid bond? If it is over $25,000 are we required to have the other bonds? a. If just the standard bid bond, we default to 5% of contract value. Is that sufficient? That should be sufficient. 5) Are there any special insurance requirements, or is the standard 1 million occurrence/2 million general liability slate fine? Standard insurance is great. 6) Do you want this open the minimum of 15 days, or will this project require additional time over and above that for firms to submit a quality bid? The minimum is perfect. 7) I see that we have plans, but do you also have a word or .pdf version of the specs? We did not create a separate spec book.
