Clay,

 

I wanted to point out one thing to you.  I used a single bid item for grinding the sidewalk base (to lower it) or adding sand/cement bedding (to raise it).  My intent was to prohibit
changes in the actual quantity amount regardless of the method of sidewalk adjustment used.  This should only be a factor at the east corner of Spectrum and Arapaho where one section
of sidewalk area will be raised and the other lowered.  The division line between the two areas is difficult to determine and may need to be adjusted in the field. 

 

Please let me know if you are not comfortable with this approach.
