Clay,

 

Unfortunately, TDLR only allows the 270 days which end on January 1.  However, we have seen responses on the response form that have box B checked and project the completion date.  The
state can then decide to allow this extra time or not.  We have seen them allow it and then we have seen them question it but it is always better to project a date than to ignore the
response.  I have attached the form.

We are currently bidding the Spectrum Drive ADA revisions.  Bid opening is set for this Friday.  It will be awarded on January 11, 2011.  We anticipate that it will be complete by March,
2011.  Is it possible to get a 60-90 day extension from the State?  If so, what is involved?
