The check dated July 12 was issued to the Chicago office, which was nearly two weeks ago. They have told me that they have not received the check. I am not sure why they have not received
the check by now. Regardless I must uphold our part of the contract. Once all of the vendors have been paid for overdue invoices we will issue payment for Pay Application 3. Have
you spoken with them about reissuing a new check to the local office?

As I explained Friday, the Highway Technology check was sent to the Chicago office as that is where the statement is generated. We spoke to Ft. worth and have updated their information
in our system to send the checks to the local office. Is it really necessary to withhold our payment until their accounting department catches up? The invoice is $1,200.00. I believe
our firm has shown enough good faith to the Town and project that we at least earned that much in return. Please reconsider.
