Question	 The contractor would like to maintain and seal the lime treated sub-grade by use of an emulsified asphalt as per COG 301.2.3.7 and 302.3.5.

The sealant will be placed just after final grade and compaction work is performed and has been tested. This Emulsified treatment will better maintain and keep a consistent moisture
content in the treated soil during the preparation time for concrete paving.
