Dave, I will contact you this morning but wanted to reach out to you in regards to the inspection for the drainage pipe and the portion of the retaining walls that are set up to pour. Last week there were several issues that you, Jose and Clay had with the installation. After our meeting Monday afternoon (12/20) that included Clay, Jose, Mike Peeples (who drew the plan) Dan Newberg (installer) we came to an agreement on the last 2 problem items. 1) How the 10” pipe exits the catch basin in the middle of the back retaining wall area. Clay decided he would ok the pipe exiting at the corner of the catch area rather than have a 90 degree turn as we had changed it to avoid the corner. It has now been reset coming out of the basin to a 45 degree turn. 2) The 10” pipe coming down the north side of the property has been straightened out by cutting back a portion of the other retaining wall footer to avoid any turns in this run of pipe. These changes have been completed for your inspection. Going forward, I understand that I will have you back to inspect the second pour of the retaining walls, which will include 2 catch basins grate structures. As we have spoken about, I will also have you inspect the 6” drainage that will be installed after the foundation is poured, and the remaining retaining walls that will be addressed at the time of landscaping on this project. Look forward to meeting you this morning, Ross Boorhem ArTex Development
