Since our meeting with the Millionair representatives, we have reviewed their pavement design and found that they were using a subgrade modulus that was too high and a number of operations of the largest aircraft that was too low. Yesterday, I finally convinced Bill Leggett to use a reasonable subgrade modulus (k-value equal to ExecHangar and our results on the runway) and larger number of G-V operations (one per week, same as ExecHangar). Bill said they would re-run their pavement calculation and resubmit to us. I expect the concrete thickness to be around 10 inches where the underlying material is clay. Once I get this resolved with Millionair, we will write a brief description of pavement design criteria for future developments at the airport. Feel free to call or email me if you have any questions.
