Good afternoon Clay. Based on the result of my recent conversation with Frank Mcillwain, I instructed Reed Engineering to re-run FAARFIELD using Mr. Mcillwain's recommendation of k130 modulus and 52 annual GV departures. Attached are the three revised pavement options. We elect to use Option #3 Portland Cement Concrete, minimum 28-Day compressive strength of 4,000 psi over 6" Lime-stabilized on-site clay, minimum 6% hydrated lime (by dry weight) compacted to a Minimum 95 percent of Modified Proctor (ASTM D 1557) at or above optimum moisture, over 6" subgrade, scarified and re compacted to a minimum of 95 percent Standard Proctor, ASTM D 698 at or above optimum moisture. As soon as we receive your approval Lynn Kadleck will adjust and re issue the paving plan. I understand this modified pavement specification is the only question remaining. Thanks for your help.
